Details

The Feminine Intelligence Agency (FIA) is dedicated to addressing subtle forms of manipulation and covert aggression, equipping women with tools to navigate complex power dynamics effectively. Our programs include educational modules, player identification tools, and chatbots that foster awareness and skills for recognizing and responding to unhealthy relational patterns. FIA's mission is to create accessible, psychologically safe resources that promote mental and emotional resilience.

Project Scope:

Students will collaborate with FIA to evaluate and enhance the psychological safety of our tools and programs. Their work will focus on ensuring that our content is trauma-informed, aligns with best practices in preventative mental health care, and supports users at various levels of emotional agency.

Deliverables

Key objectives include:

  1. Reviewing and assessing FIA’s current resources:
  • Educational Modules: Designed to teach social discernment skills and provide embodied practice for navigating manipulative dynamics.
  • Chatbot: Engages users in analyzing relational dynamics and identifying manipulation while promoting psychological safety.
  • Player Identification Tools: Help users recognize behavioral patterns and predict potential risks based on brain biases.
  1. Developing a framework to measure user agency and recommend tailored content based on user needs.
  2. Proposing enhancements to ensure trauma-informed principles are applied effectively.
  3. Identifying public health strategies to guide users with high trauma needs to appropriate external resources.

Deliverables:

  • A 10-15 minute presentation summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for improving the psychological safety and effectiveness of FIA’s tools.
  • A detailed report outlining:
  • Research on trauma-informed care principles and user safety.
  • Evaluation of current FIA resources.
  • Recommendations for content improvements and safe off-boarding strategies.
  • Suggestions for outreach or public health initiatives to raise awareness about FIA's programs.

Activities:

Students will:

  • Conduct literature reviews and analyze FIA’s current resources.
  • Explore public health strategies for supporting users with complex mental health needs.
  • Develop educational programming ideas for enhancing FIA’s modules.
  • Provide actionable recommendations for user engagement and support.

Learning Outcomes:

By participating in this project, students will:

  • Apply clinical psychology principles to real-world mental health programming.
  • Gain hands-on experience in designing and evaluating trauma-informed educational tools.
  • Contribute to public health initiatives that address critical mental health challenges.
  • Develop communication and teamwork skills through collaboration with FIA and their peers.
