The project aims to leverage KARA's extensive library of posts and podcasts to raise awareness about child abuse and child protection issues. The goal is to create a comprehensive social media campaign that effectively disseminates this crucial information across multiple and various platforms such as (examples) TikTok, WeChat, Telegram, Messenger, Snapchat, Douyin, Platform, Reddit, Kuaishou, LnkedIn, Twitter/X, Pinterest, Discord, Threads, Twitch, ensuring the message is consistent and compelling across all channels..The team will research effective social media strategies, design visually appealing posts from KARA's site, and share content for optimal reach and engagement. By applying classroom knowledge of digital marketing and communication, learners will help KARA extend its reach and impact in the community. The campaign will also aim to foster student and community involvement and encourage individuals to take actionable steps in supporting child protection efforts. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, and social media analytics to a real-world cause, enhancing their skills while contributing to a meaningful initiative.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a comprehensive social media content calendar, a series of redesigned posts from the KARA website (Current Kids At Risk News - INVISIBLE CHILDREN & podcasts: KARA Podcast | Podcast on Spotify ) ready for publication, and a report on recommended strategies for future campaigns. The team will also provide a path to analysis of engagement metrics to assess the campaign's effectiveness. Additionally, a presentation summarizing the project's outcomes and insights will be prepared for KARA's review
