Details

The project aims to explore and evaluate digital mental health services that Kids At Risk Action (KARA) can promote and provide to support traumatized youth. With the increasing reliance on digital platforms for mental health support, it is crucial for KARA to identify effective and accessible services tailored to the needs of young individuals who have experienced trauma. The project will involve researching various digital mental health tools, such as apps, online counseling services, and virtual support groups, to assess their suitability for KARA's target demographic. The team will analyze factors such as ease of use, accessibility, evidence of effectiveness, and cost. By the end of the project, KARA will have a comprehensive list of recommended digital mental health services that align with their mission to support at-risk youth.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a detailed report and a presentation. The report will list and evaluate digital mental health services that reflect the approach of Portages Digital Therapeutic whole person habit and behavior program, highlighting their features, benefits, and potential drawbacks. Additionally, the team will provide a set of recommendations for KARA, including a prioritized list of the top 3 services to consider promoting. The presentation will summarize the findings and recommendations, offering KARA a clear path forward in enhancing their support for traumatized youth through digital means.
