The intern will build a content calendar, produce short-form social assets, run creator outreach and paid experiments, and deliver a conversion-focused report with actionable optimizations and measurable KPIs (demo plays, installs, signups, and creator activations).
You will own 1–2 end-to-end campaigns and contribute to ongoing growth initiatives:
- Launch & manage a Product Hunt / app launch campaign (copy, assets, community mobilization). Deliverable: PH page, assets, day-of playbook, post-launch report.
- Creator & micro-influencer program for India/Canada/USA: shortlist, outreach templates, onboarding kit, promo code tracking, and conversion report. Deliverable: 10 creator activations + conversion dashboard.
- Organic social strategy and content production: Reels, short video scripts, carousel posts, captions, and A/B tests. Deliverable: content calendar + 12 posts (Reels + Stories) and engagement analysis.
- Paid media experiments: small-budget Meta/TikTok campaigns to validate CAC and audiences. Deliverable: 2 ad experiments with learnings & optimization plan.
- Email & CRM nurture: design onboarding flows, segmentation, and re-engagement experiments. Deliverable: 3 automated flows and lift report.
- Analytics & dashboards: set up tracking (UTMs, promo codes), build weekly KPI dashboard (traffic → demo → signup → conversion). Deliverable: dashboard + recommendations.
What you’ll learn (outcomes)
- Run production-grade social video (short-form) campaigns and measure business impact.
- Build and scale a creator program with affiliate/promo tracking.
- Run low-budget paid experiments and calculate CAC / LTV.
- Translate analytics into growth playbooks (channel prioritization, content hooks).
- Gain portfolio work: campaign artifacts, analytics reports, and an end-to-end case study.
Required skills & traits
- Enrolled student or recent grad in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Familiarity with social platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn) and content formats.
- Strong writing and storytelling for short-form social.
- Basic analytics comfort (Google Analytics, UTM, spreadsheets).
- Creativity, initiative, comfort with testing quickly and iterating.
- Portfolio or samples (class projects, social pages, reels) preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with creator outreach or affiliate programs.
- Exposure to Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, or email platforms (Mailchimp/HubSpot).
- Interest in travel, voice tech, or community-first monetization.
Tools you’ll use
Canva, Adobe Spark or Premiere Rush, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Google Analytics, Google Sheets/Looker Studio, Airtable/Notion, email tools (Mailchimp/SendGrid), and social schedulers (Buffer/Hootsuite). OR Bring your AI tools.
Supervision & mentorship
- Direct mentorship from founder (growth & community) and marketing lead.
- Weekly 1:1, and review of metrics + creative coaching.
- Opportunity to present campaign learnings to leadership.
Performance metrics
- Creator activations & conversions (tracked by promo codes)
- Content engagement (views, watch time, saves, shares)
- Demo plays / app installs from campaigns
- CAC from paid tests, and conversion rate from PH → signup
