We would like students to help us with creating a product to increase mobility options for people with severe paralysis. The device is intended to be an add-on to the existing mobility solution.

Ultimately students will be working in groups to design a device to help people with severe disabilities/paralysis to be able to move better or have a further range of motion .

Their design can either complement the existing technology available to allow further range motion or in more advanced technology. Students also have the freedom to design a device that is independently used and not added on.

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

• successfully designing /programming a device
• Assist with making a model of their
• successfully testing out their device
• Being able to provide a detailed version of their reports

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.
