They are trained to:
- Build inclusive and equity-centered recruitment strategies
- Develop documentation for each phase of the hiring process
- Use recruitment technology, dashboards, and analytics
- Analyze labor markets and workforce needs
- Create employer branding and onboarding strategies
- Develop scorecards, selection rubrics, and recruitment data reports
- Apply diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) principles in every stage of hiring
These learners have completed hands-on, scenario-based projects and are prepared to work independently or with light employer guidance.
Learners will work individually or in small groups of 2-4 students, based on the number of students enrolled at the time.
*Project start date is flexible, but the self-assignment must be completed by December 1, and projects must be finished before December 31, 2025 ****Please note that your Project might not receive a student***

Each learner will complete a talent acquisition project that mirrors real-world HR deliverables. Projects will reflect the organization’s hiring needs and priorities with a strong focus on inclusion and measurable strategy.
Possible deliverables include:
- Inclusive Recruitment Plan — aligned with your business strategy
- Job Description and Selection Rubric — with clear criteria and DEIA framing
- Candidate Experience Map — outlining touchpoints and improvements
- Onboarding or Rewards Strategy — tailored for engagement and retention
- Recruitment Analytics Dashboard — with KPIs like time-to-fill, diversity, and NPS
- Employer Branding Guide — highlighting DEIA-focused messaging
All deliverables are designed for clarity, usability, and adaptability to your organization’s size and goals.
Project examples

- Creating a recruitment plan for an upcoming hiring campaign
- Designing a structured interview and candidate scoring system
- Evaluating and improving your current employer brand messaging
- Mapping a diverse candidate journey and onboarding experience
- Building a data-driven recruiting scorecard (time-to-hire, cost, diversity metrics)
- Researching job boards or recruitment tools with inclusive reach
