This assignment involves working with UX, UI and Web Dev students, who will spend 100 hours each throughout an intensive period, with the end goal of building through Wordpress a website that was designed by RED students.

Hand over deliverables include:

  • Research data
  • Clickable prototype
  • Wireframes
  • Visual designs (icons, branding etc.)
  • Information architecture
  • 30 minute presentation showcasing both UX and UI processes and results
  • A case study that walks the reader through your design process

Project examples

Project Examples include, but are not limited to:

User Experience

  • Research (Organizational/domain/user/competitive comparative etc.)
  • Planning of design sprint (information architecture, data analysis, brainstorming etc.)
  • Design (wireframes, prototypes etc)
  • Testing (user testing, iterating)
  • Presentation ( final presentation to community partner on the work done throughout the 3 week sprint)

User Interface

  • Research Research (Organizational/domain/user/competitive comparative etc.)
  • Design inceptions, moodboards, art direction
  • Design Hi-fidelity mockups from wireframes
  • User interface elements (icons, graphics, visual elements)
  • Brand Assets (logo, style guides, style tiles)
  • Presentation ( final presentation to community partner on the work done throughout the 3 week sprint)
