The students in this class are completing the Global Business Management Post Graduate Certificate program at Mohawk College in Hamilton Ontario.
We are looking to work with an organization that has a supply chain-related problem or question to provide a work-integrated learning experience for our students and make a positive impact on an organization.
Learners
· Phase 1 – Students and/or faculty will meet with organization representative(s) to identify problem(s) and/or questions(s) and prepare a detailed action plan for preparing alternative solutions.
· Phase 2 –Students will work on deliverables outlined in the action plan. Students and/or faculty will periodically communicate with organization representative(s) as needed to complete project tasks.
· Phase 3 - The final deliverables will be agreed upon in Phase 1 and will vary by project. Generally, your organization will receive a report, presentation, or action plan with recommendations.

Project Examples
Requirements
Work with our faculty and students to solve supply chain-related problems and questions with groups of students from our Global Busines Management Post Graduate Certificate program as a part of their group project.
Sourcing Top Talent: The students will be working on real-time problems and questions faced by industry members and provide them with alternative solutions.
Sample projects include, but are not limited to:
- Integrating sustainable practices into the supply chain ( Sustainable Supply Chain Management)
- Improving workflow in a warehouse using RFID
- Sourcing strategies and challenges for improvement in procurement methods
Characteristics of Students:
- Represent a variety of disciplines within the supply chain including procurement, demand planning, forecasting, logistics, inventory control, and operations management
- Have a sound knowledge of supply chain management and some have experience in supply chain
- This course is part of a two-year program that the students are enrolled in
- They are educated, with all of them having completed an undergraduate degree and some MBA as well.
- Graduating in June/July 2020
